Former India wicket-keeper Ajay Ratra appointed BCCI selector 2024

BCCI announced Former India wicket-keeper Ajay Ratra as a selector of north zone replacing Salil Ankola, there are 5 selectors representing 5 zones led by Ajit Agarkar chief selector and Ratra in his career played 6 Test matches and 12 ODIs matches for India. Representing Haryana, Ratra featured in 90 First Class matches, scoring close to 4000 runs and had over 240 dismissals.
It is a huge honour and a challenge. I look forward to contributing to Indian cricket,” Ratra told PTI shortly after the announcement.
Ratra will work under chief selector Ajit Agarkar and join the other committee members, including Shiv Sundar Das, Subroto Banerjee, and Sridharan Sharath.
